A dip in that mountain stream after a hot, sweaty climb won't phase the prAna Mojo Shorts. These shorts' lightweight fabric dries quickly. The flat elastic waistband won't interfere with your harness, and the 9.5 inch inseam keeps your legs cool without revealing your mojo during yoga. Mesh-lined front pockets enhance the Mojo Shorts' breathability.
Loved these shorts immediately. Want to buy 2 more pair! Perfect for climbing and yoga. Great fit w/o restricted movement. No more climbing in ratty old shorts
The shorts just plain rock. They feel awesome and length is just right. The pockets are deep so when you have a harness on or whatever your belongings dont fall out of your pockets and the back pocket has velcro to secure your wallet. I actually just bought another pair I liked these so much...I have a size 30-31 waist and medium fits well, no folding waist band like others reported.
Shorts are very comfortable and easy to move in. I have a 31 waist and medium is perfect. If climbing is not your thing they transition well to running, hiking and swimming.
These shorts are very comfy and dry very quickly as the Prana people claim. Awesome to climb or chill in. However the stitching has been a bit suspect, in a spot on the legs the fabric is coming apart and the bottom of one of the pockets is giving out already. Maybe it is just this pair of shorts, but I have only had them for about a month. I haven't had quality issues with Prana before so I am hoping these don't degenerate further.
I found my first pair thrifting. I thought it was too good to be true, and they'd been discontinued. Happily, prAna's still going strong with this line.
I'll wear them while doing nearly any activity from running (they're not too restrictive for running), climbing, and going to the grandparent's house for dinner. Nice lines and simple that I feel stylish in midtown manhattan on a hot day. quick dry, nice length.
I absolutely love these shorts. They're great for climbing as they're not too baggy that the harness bunches up at the leg and they don't restrict movement. Very lightweight and they dry quickly, so they're great for hiking. I use them for yoga as well, though I've found that they can get a bit restrictive when doing a full lunge or pigeon stretches. However, this would probably be the same with any shorts or pants! I have a pair of black and a pair of pewter. The only complaint I have is that my climbing chalk absolutely loves the microfiber, so they don't stay too clean after a session. However, a light rinse fixes that and you're dry in minutes. I wear a 32/33 and I'm just over six feet tall and the large fits perfectly (not too baggy, not too tight).
Love the light weight material on these bad boys. Perfect for climbing all day in the heat and then taking a dip in the beach, dries when ya want them dry. Love how they don't restrict your movements like a lot of board shorts you might normally use if you want to hit the beach up afterwards. I'd surf with these if I knew how.
I have had these shorts for 4 years now and I am still wearing them as often as I can. I am 6 feet and 175ish and the large fits me fine. They have kept me cool on long hikes, been comfy while climbing, they don't fall down when swimming, and look good enough to wear around town whenever you feel like it. The shorts are great to have and wear, you won't regret buying these.
These are the best climbing shorts ever! Rear pocket, side pockets, gusseted crotch, stretch material, quick dry, Prana craftsmanship...there is no need for any other climbing short. Probably the best short for under a harness too!
These shorts are quite versatile. Use them for climbing, yogo, hiking, swimming, underwear, or whatever you may think of. Simple design, quick drying, mesh pockets--these shorts allow a great amount of leg movement and are super comfy.
I use these shorts for yoga, and climbing. The elastic strap is a bit wide and tends to fold onto itself. Other than that, they fit true to size, and stay dry. I would recommend them.
Just finished wearing these for 5 days straight on the West Coast Trail, and these shorts performed extremely well. The elastic band is the best part, never too tight or too loose, but the fact that it doesn't bite into your hips under your pack's hip belt was a life saver. I'm 5'8", 31" waist and the shorts were down to my knees and fit well enough to hike all day with a camera in the pocket, and swim with at the end of the day.
I am 6'4" and have a 36 inch waist and the XL fit great in the waist and in length. Great all around short. Lots of mobility, I even use mine for swimming. Get a pair
I heard a lot of stellar reviews about these shorts, so I figured I better try some. The materials are fine, and I can see why some people love them, but they're not what I thought they would be. I can't imagine getting too hot in them, since the material is so lightweight and airy. But on the flipside, it's really annoying when you put anything in the pockets, because it'll make the shorts swing around and get all out of wack when you move or sit down. I think they may as well not have pockets at all, and I've stopped trying to use them for anything. The other thing I wasn't stoked on is the waistband. Again, I'm sure it's great for some people, such as those wearing a harness, since it's flat and won't dig into you when the harness is on over it. But aside from the harness thing, I think it's just annoying because it makes your underwear/boxers ride up like no man's business.
These are super comfortable since they are so light and airy. With the elastic waist they never get hung up on your harness either the way a belt sometimes does. I have used mine a ton and they are still going strong!
I bought them cause my other shorts tended to stick to my legs in hot conditions. This dirty phenomena often restricted movement. These shorts weigh nothing and you don't feel them during bouldering. Even in hot, humid weather. I have three pairs now!

This is the end of week 3 since I purchased this product. I use these shorts in the gym. They do not ride-up when I'm on the seated leg press or while doing sit-ups. The fabric and cut are both excellent. I am completely satisfied with these shorts.
At 5'11", 190lbs, and 21% BMI the waist band on the XL feels a little snug. Not uncomfortable, but any tighter and it would bother me. I am a size 34 waist and originally bought the Large size but the waist band was noticeably tight.
