Wear the prAna Men's Katek Convertible Pants on those chilly morning hikes to your rock climbing routes. Once you get to the wall, zip-off the bottoms and convert these prAna pants into shorts. The Katek Convertible Pants' stretch nylon material and gusseted inseam keep you comfortable and allow for plenty of flexibility as you stem up the wall. As the air cools off at the end of the day, zip the lower legs back on and stay warm on your hike home.

Prana has a reputation for comfortable synthetic fabrics, and these pants are no disapointment. They are light weight and breathable withou feeling flimsy, with enough room for normal width legs without feeling tight. I wore them for a week in Africa with 100+ degree weather and they were extremely comfortable.
