From deep-water soloing in Morocco to hanging ten in Bali, the prAna Men's Catalyst Board Short makes its mark. Styley without being flashy, the Catalyst has all the features of a solid surf trunk like a lace waist, wax pocket and casual 12-inch inseam, but prAna added in a gusseted crotch to aid above-water heel hooks and dynos of faith. Heavy 5.3 ounce polyester is tough and dries in a flash for the next attempt.

do the Prana Men's Catalyst Boardshort have a liner?

No they don't, but they are long enough that you can still rock them commando. Also, depending on what size you get, boxers work underneath as well. I'm about a 32" waist and got the size L. Little big on me, but I like my board shorts that way and it allows me to wear boxers if I want.

These are really, really comfy. They are plenty long, cover well and don't fall too easily. Very happy with this purchase!
