prAna 70's Cord Pant - Women's

After a day at the crags, pull on the prAna 70s Cord Pants and meet your friends for dinner. These corduroys have a fitted style that shows off your lean legs. A smidge of spandex in the 70s Cords adds stretch, and front patch pockets hold your ID and keys when you'd rather not bother with a purse.

Bottom Line: You don't have to wear your chalky climbing pants out to dinner when you have prAna's 70s Cords.

Great for climbing and more

These pants are great because you can climb in them comfortably, thanks to the little bit of stretch. I like very low rise pants, because they don't pinch my waist, and I think they are more flattering. They are soft, somewhat thick, and very warm. The waist sits low under your harness, which is good.

I like these pants a lot for base jumping in the colder season too. It's easy for me to fit my knee pads under them, and they haven't ripped or worn through, probably thanks to the stretch in the fabric which also adds to the durability.

I wear them all the time for camping and casual use too, so they are the perfect cords--good for technical use, but also a favorite live-in pant for normal life.

Awesome cords

If you are looking for cords, these are super comfortable. That little bit of spandex makes a big difference- these stretch with you. Low rise, and it's slightly higher in the back, which is perfect. True to size.

Low Riders - Great Color

By:
December 22, 2008

If you're looking for low-riding cords that are comfortable this is it. Yes, the waist is a little big but for those that have a little "after baby" bulge or regularly have a little bloat, these will work fine. I usually have to get at least a 32 inseam but these seem just a tad longer. They did shrink after washing in warm water and thrown in the dryer, most cords do and these are no exception. I ordered a size 10 which is what I wear to be comfortable and there was plenty of room - hence the use of the dryer. The first day I wore them they stretched out and I was tugging trying to keep them up. I do like these pants though. Blue color is great and indigo is a perfect description.

Cute and comfortable.

I'm big fan of these... and the stretch makes all the difference! Definitely true to size. I'll be sure not to dry mine so they don't shrink in the length!

High quality, very comfortable, lovely color. I can't wait for cooler temperatures and long weekends. praNa pants really flatter a woman's body and bum but let you move...

Awesome pants

I'm a yoga teacher, so you know that I know comfortable clothes. And these pants? Are what I choose to put on my body whenever I can. I should really buy more in other colors because they are all that I wear and I am sure everyone around me is getting tired of looking at them. And, I agree with the other reviewers, the waist is a little big, but add a belt and you are good to go!

love these

i have these in the indigo blue which is a nice color. they are comfy! i am pretty short (5'2") and they aren't too long for me-i got a size 4. they make your butt look nice too! i agree with the comment that the waist is loose but definitely not a problem with a belt. dress these up or down.

HUGE waist

By:
February 22, 2009

Bought the "0", I'm normally a "0" or a "1". Great fit through the hips and legs. Very flattering. Unfortunately, the waist is HUGE!!!. Not even a belt could help. Also they ride very low, much lower than I thought they would. Had to send them back. I can't recommend them.

prAna 70's cord pant

By:
January 25, 2008

prAna has almost got it right for those of us who are skinny with long legs. The waist is too big (this is XS size!!) so I have to use a belt but for the rest these are great pants, and fit well every where else

Almost Perfect

By:
April 15, 2008

I definitely agree with Wendii -- a beautiful fit aside from a waist which is just a smidgen too big. (It does, however, make one feel fabulously lean.) Ridiculously comfortable and made from a cord which is thin enough to move in, but thick enough to be toasty.

Bitchen pants

By:

Love these cords. A tiny bit loose in the waist but a belt solves that. I have these in 4 colors, need the other two they are so great. Makes my butt look delightful.

not quite long enough

By: Backcountry.com Employee

I love these pants, they move really well and are very comfortable. However, I went a size up from a 4 to 6 because even though the 4 fit perfect, they were too short and hit too high on my ankle for my taste. So now I have the 6 and they are long enough, if a little bigger at the waist, but I just low ride them and they work just fine.
