injinji Performance Glove - Men's

The injinji Men's Performance Glove features lightweight, breathable fabric that provides enough coverage for trail runs and other aerobic pursuits in cold weather. These injinji gloves have Lycra wrists for a snug fit and reflective panels that help you stay visible to vehicles during pre-dawn and dusk sessions. The Performance Gloves' grippy palms let you do what you need to without having to take off your gloves, whether that be tying your shoelaces or coiling a climbing rope.

Bottom Line: Avoid numb hands when you work out on a cold day—wear the injinji Performance Gloves.

I am looking for a very light weight glove that will only be used to keep the sun off my hands while hiking in the desert. Will these be to heavy for that?

while I can't comment on these specific gloves, I've used the UnderArmor liner gloves (the guys around 40$) for years - in everything from running, to snowboarding, to around town. They also "fit like a glove" which is exactly what you want with light gloves.

Good performance glove

Actually got this for my girlfriend. She needed a lightweight glove to keep her hands warm in mild winter conditions without being too bulky. The colors of the women's one she didn't like so got her this one instead. She absolutely loves it and wear it all the time. Its good for winter workout or when you require to perform tasks in the cold that a bulky insulated glove might not suit. Your hands don't get too hot of sweaty since the material is very breathable. Could be used as a liner for a shell for added warmth.

Looking for gloves for my dad. He is 75 and complains that his fingertips get numb when in 30+ degree weather. Would a good liner be sufficient or could you recommend a specific glove. He does not like bulky gloves.

These aren't the gloves for him. The bulky thing is a challenge. How about the Marmot Spring Glove or the Outdoor Research PL 400? He needs a little bit of bulk to get the warmth he's looking for. Liner gloves just won't cut it.

I'm just wondering how warm these gloves are? I'll be in South Bend, IN during winter and it's about 10 to 20 degrees for a large part of it.
