Yakima FreshSesh - 2007

Load your skis or snowboards onto your car's roof rack with the Yakima FreshSesh Snow Mounts. The FreshSesh system comes with two different sets of decals, so you can customize your sticks' ride. One-button access lets you open this mount with gloves or mittens on, so your fingers don't freeze. Rubber where the mount cinches down onto your boards protects them, and the integrated binding lift gives clearance over tall bindings.

Bottom Line: Give your skis and boards a cush, custom ride with the Yakima FreshSesh Snow Mounts.

Great for the Money

They work really well. Too bad I can't get rid of the whistling and I have the wind guard.

I will say, it only fits four pairs of skis. 5 is pushing it with the width ski's are today.

Nice rack, cool stickers

By:

The thing works great. I like that the closing arms spring up when you open it, which makes it easier to slide in the boards. The stickers also add a cool effect. Grey camo, nice.

A Nearly Perfect Ski Rack

By:
October 22, 2008

Had this thing one season so far and it's been great. Got the locking cores so no one steals my racks or gear. The stickers are cool, it has camo and a pink one for the ladies. Had 5 pairs of skis on it at one time. I think they advertise 6 but if you ski anything 80mm or bigger at the waist 5 is pretty much your limit. I think they'd probably hold 3-4 pairs of powder boards, wouldn't know though as I've only had 2 pairs of fatties on there at once.UPDATE: The one downside I noticed with this rack is that it whistles. I didn't notice it when it was on my Jeep because I have it mounted sideways due to also having a spare tire on my rack. When mounted normally on a car it had a nasty whistle. Not sure if this was specific to my car only but it's worth mentioning. The car (an Accord) has a Yakima rack on it too.
