Will the Yakima double down fit a 2007 GMC Tahoe?

It will if you have a 1" 1/4 or a 2" hitch. That's the beauty of a hitch-mounted bike carrier. It will fit most vehicles if it has a hitch installed. If you don't, a good place to get one is the local U-Haul. They will do it for around $250-$300.

I also like hitch-mounted bike carriers because they can be put on and taken off fairly easy. The anti-sway attachments Yakima uses are the best available. This is an awesome product and a good reason why it's the best selling hitch bike carrier on the market!

essentially there is an adapter bar that stretches arcoss from the handle bars to seat therefore giving it that flat bar that guys' bikes have. Then the bike can be loaded. Roughly $50. I just got this hitch yesterday and plan on hanging the bike a little differently. Just higher up to where the bars all connect a little closer...Great hitch though for it's adjustable arm so that you can open the hatch without having to take it off

The hauler slides into place in a trailer hitch mount. Just slide it in where the square tube the trailer ball is connected to slides in, put the cross pin in place and you are ready to haul.

most likely, as long as the back door swings up as opposed to opening out from a hinge on the side...it sits off the car pretty far
