Yakima SpaceCadet 15 Cargo Box - 2009

For cars or trucks with short roofs, the Yakima SpaceCadet 15 Cargo Box gives you extra cargo space when you and your buddies are packed in like sardines. If you click on the "Car Configurator" at the top of the screen and go through the steps it will tell you if this item is compatible with a Subaru Outback.

I have a yakima car carrier box and the locking mech on the rear

I have a yakima car carrier box and the locking mech on the rear would not disingage. I removed the two pins that hold the lock on and tapped over the lock so it would not ingage again. Are there any replacement parts and if so where would I find them.

have you tired yakima's website?If you're talking about the locking core, yes you can replace those. Check on Backcountry.com for that part. If not you're best off going to yakima.com.Hope that helps.
