Wilderness Systems Pungo 100 Kayak

The seat in the Wilderness Systems Pungo 100 Kayak isn’t exactly the same as your living room recliner, but the foam-padded back rest (with adjustable angle and height) and thigh support certainly go a long way when you’re paddling for hours. This light craft tracks straight, feels stable, and is ridiculously nimble. The SlideLock foot-brace system provides a custom leg-length fit for paddling leverage whether you’re on the lake or in the ocean.

Bottom Line: Back and butt comfort.

Pungo is all I need for a fun time...

By:
July 29, 2009

Well not all my fun...but it meets all my needs for cruisin' on the lake or ocean. It really does track straight; sometimes out manoevering the sleak ruddered boats. Does the trick for stability; so much so that I can't roll and brace as the other boats do....but who needs to be dunked and spin back up looking so cool (Dude). Thought Kayaking was all about staying up right on any kind of water! Love my Pungo!

I noticed that the blue kayak in your picture on the internet

I noticed that the blue kayak in your picture on the internet for the pungo 100 is different from the orange and yellow ones. does the blue one havethe same cockpit with the dry hatch as the yellow and orange one. I'm getting the 2009 model right not the 2008 model? I want the 2009 model with the dry hatch in the cockpit.

Oops! That Blue one that you saw is actually the Tsunami, not the Pungo. We do have the Blue version of the Pungo in stock (2009 model!) and it's accessories/cockpit will match what you see in the Orange and Yellow Pungo images. We'll get a pic of that Blue version ASAP. Sorry for the confusion!
