Wild Country Climber's Belt - 2008

The Wild Country Climber's Belt has a 15-kilonewton breaking strength and will suffice for a harness in belaying emergencies. It does a pretty good job holding up your pants too. Make sure you double back the harness-style buckle for maximum security.

Bottom Line: Forget your harness? Use your belt.

As far as technical belts go this thing is pretty rad. The reversibility somewhat handy. The design looks orange in the pictures, but it is infact red. For normal wear you don't need to double back, its not going anywhere, but doubled back it will be rock solid for emergency uses. Side note, it can only be doubled back red side out. The webbing is one and a quarter inches wide, about an eight inch thick.
