I have had my jacket since this spring. It is a greatjacket. I have an arcteryx ski coat, and tons of patagonia fleece. This is not 100% windproof, maybe 75%. Nice look. ipod is hard to control through soft touch buttons. Most of the time I cannot get it to work. I think is would be fine to just keep it in your pocket. Very expensive coat for a novelty feature.

Generally take your normal size, and scale down two, to get at the correct size. Apparently women are not supposed to go outside, but stay within the confinements of their four walls. It is very disappointing to see, that they haven't improved at all in sizing, since i started doing outdoor activities in the '80s. a sad reputation, a sad role model, and a sad legacy to leave for others. some of us are actually just not *MEGA* big in terms og physics, or aryan in terms of performance, sorry

This is a great lightweight jacket! If you can't live without your tunes, the Ipod system on this coat works great! The construction appears well made. I wish this site would carry more Westcomb products. They seem very similar to arc'teryx.

I originally ordered this in a size 8 because I like jackets to be on the longer side. However, the 8 was ENORMOUS on me (I'm 5'8") so I returned it for a 6 which is definitely better, but I wish it was just a little less baggy in the stomach and armpits. That said, I really like this fleece. It is a great mid-weight, soft on the outside and fuzzy on the inside and the ipod system is great! I haven't taken it hiking yet, but I have worn it while biking to school and it makes it much easier to change songs on my ipod while I'm on the move-- no fumbling around with the ipod itself (and risking dropping it which I am in the habit of doing), all you have to do is push a little symbol on your sleeve. Very cool.
