Westcomb Advent Pant - Men's - 2007

On your next cold weather hike, wear the Westcomb Men's Advent Pants. Westcomb used scholler dryskin, a highly functional Swiss fabric, to give these pants durability and four-way stretch. When a chilly, wet Pacific Northwest storm picks up, you will be protected on your hike down thanks to the wind-and water-resistant 3XDRY material. Westcomb constructed the Advents to be lightweight and tough, so these pants won't weigh you down or tear as you tromp through the brush. Articulated knees add mobility on your uphill climbs.

Bottom Line: Pull on Westcomb's Advent Pants for all of your cold hikes.

Westcomb does size...

By: Backcountry.com Vendor Rep
October 29, 2008

Just so you know Westcomb does make all their pants in short, regular, and long versions both for men and women. Because they are a new company, some of these sizes are hard to find (you can get in contact with them through westcomb.com). Hopefully sites like backcountry.com will support the brand more fully and offer different lengths in their pants. Westcomb is dedicated to making the best outerwear and paramount to that is how it fits. This will be what ultimately separates them from the crowd in the coming years.

Nice clean design - but too short for me

I liked these pants a lot - great material (Schoeller Dryskin with 3X Dry) and quality construction. They have a simple design and they fit well with one major exception: they were 1-2 inches too short in the inseam for me. I have long legs for my height so if you're of more average proportions, they'll probably work. I tried to justify keeping them but felt the slight high-water look wouldn't do. I wish they made a long version (like Arcteryx does their sizing). Too bad - Westcomb is making some really nice apparel.
