Werner Camano Paddle - Carbon Blade - Bent Carbon Shaft - 2006

The Camano is Werner's most balanced touring paddle. It has a low angle blade design with a mid-size blade that offers the perfect combination for paddlers who want power yet use a relaxed all around touring stroke. The Camano also offers the best balance of light swing weight and smooth forward strokes. This reduces fatigue on longer tours and means you don't need to be a body builder to handle the paddle. The bent shaft version features a neutral bend that naturally aligns your wrist with the paddle blade making it more comfortable and reducing strain.

I know nothing about paddles, just started kayaking. Will this camano carbon paddle allow me to make the blades straight if I don't like paddling with a feather (never tried this). thanks! Di

Werner paddles are made of two pieces and they split inthe middle of the shaft for convinience of transport.Where the paddle joins ther eis a mechanism that allows you to set the paddle to any angle you desire. The adjustment is easily done even under way with the click of a buttom and resetting of paddle angle. You can play with different setting and find out what you like best.Gnarlydog
