Werner Camano Paddle - Carbon Blade - Straight Carbon Shaft - 2006

The Camano is Werner's most balanced touring paddle. It has a low angle blade design with a mid-size blade that offers the perfect combination for paddlers who want power yet use a relaxed all around touring stroke. The Camano also offers the best balance of light swing weight and smooth forward strokes. This reduces fatigue on longer tours and means you don't need to be a body builder to handle the paddle.

Bottom Line: An all-around touring paddle great for multi-day trips.

I had been a user of Werner's fiberglass Camano paddle for a while, but this carbon fiber model is even better. It's lighter and I was able to get it with the smaller shaft to fit my hands better. Now I can skip wearing gloves most of the time because the better fit eliminates blistering.
