Volkl Ledge Alpine Ski
The Volkl Ledge Alpine Ski is a lot like your cousin Ralph, in that it's good at everything it tries. But it's not a total prick about it. It'll let you come along--in fact, you can steer. The Ledge Ski specializes in pike and park spins and jibs--but when it takes off in varied terrain on the rest of the mountain, hold on to your hat. It's gonna be a sweet ride.
- Symmetrical shape digs frontwards and fakie equally well--so go ahead and choose
- Butter zone incorporates snappy poplar wood in the forward part of the ski and dense wood around the binding for a poppy ride with excellent durability
- Armed edges are resilient against rails, so slide away
- Tough Box construction layers a wood core in a fiberglass sheath for tons of snap and resilience
- This ski's shape makes it rage in the park, but it's definitely wide enough to cruise the deeps when that tickles your fancy
Bottom Line: Your new ride puts on a clinic in the park, then sprays your cousin's d-bag buds on the rest of the mountain.
