Voile V Series Binding Risers

The Voile V Series binding risers are standard equipment for the Hardwire and Hardwire 3-Pin telemark bindings. Also sold as an add-on accessory for your binding, these risers have a wide, stable ball-of-foot platform that will clearly increase your skiing performance. It comes with mounting templates, screws and plugs. It has a 4 hole pattern that matches Black Diamond, G3, Voile bindings, and can be mounted on the K2 telemark ski inserts. It has a 2 degree wedge built into it that puts telemark boots at a more neutral position. Tech tip: The hole pattern of the new V Series riser matches the threaded insert pattern on new K2 telemark skis. Contact Voile directly for a unique screw pack to mount this riser to K2 skis.

Bottom Line: If you're not using a riser, you're not getting the most of your ski.

It's not an exciting piece of gear but......

Ski binding risers aren't as cool as a 2oz stove or a 2# tent, but they do help initiate turns and make more radical turns with three pin bindings without hitting your bindings on the snow. This isn't a piece of gear to be excited about but I'm satisfied with its performance.

Add a little leverage to your skiing

By:
February 20, 2008

These give you the necessary rise to make quick edge to edge transitions while skiing. They also help defeat "wing out" when you turn, so they improve overall turning and stability.

Quick to your edges

By:

My new Voile binding risers are an improvement over my previous "red" risers. The wider foot and heel plates make for quicker edge-to-edge action and reduce the amount of over-all effort in skiing. I highly recommend them.
