The Voile Hardwire is a complete package. It includes Voile's new 20mm V-120 riser, and Anti-Ice Teflon tape. We can't say enough good things about Voile's flagship telemark binding. The Voile Hardwire is a go-anywhere and do-everything binding for all abilities. With performance and durability as its foundation, the Hardwire is equally at home in-area or outta bounds. Tempered stainless steel rods provide lateral stability for some of the best on-snow performance of any tele binding available. For long-term durability Voile has used only the highest quality aluminum and nylons.
Bottom Line: The Voile Hardwire delivers downhill performance in a lightweight package.
I have had some poor tele bindings but the hardwire is not one of them. I ski very low and they have proven themselves over the past six years. I am very hard on equipment and the hardwires stand-up! And as a bonus, Voile is a local company!
I love these bindings. They have slightly more tension than the G3's, are light, bombproof, and a great value. Note: they don't come with climbing bars anymore; you have to buy them separately. The red ones look way cool.
I've been using the voile hardwire for four seasons now starting with the the first version. The bindings have never broken or failed in any way. The parts can be changed back and forth from old versions to new and upgrades are available for old versions. The slight angle on the toe makes for greater comfort. VERY STRONG AND LIGHT!.. Thanks to Voile!

Good for all around use, whether you starting off or have been throwing down a while. It doesn't kill your bank account either, I use this with my super stinx and they are a great pair. Just a good straight foward binding that is snappy in the bumps.
While the hardwire binding does not appear as rugged as my G3 Targas, it skis like a much more sturdy binding. I have a more upright stance and I appreciate the control I get over my rear ski with the hardwire. They really dig in!
I love this binding. It gives me great control and helps keep my back ski stable, even at high speeds. One problem is that the wires can get bent. I had a few gnarly crashes and had to replace the wires. Also it kinda sucks that they dont come with a runaway leash or climbing wires anymore.
This is an excellent binding. I did have to call voile and have them send me longer screws for mounting them on the K2 Mt. Baker. I also had to purchase the heel lifts and safety straps separately. This was all to the tune of about $30.00. It would have been better to get these items with the original purchase. When I called Voile, they said they stopped including these items so that they could be more competitive with their pricing. I feel that that was somewhat sneaky since I ended up having to purchase these items separately.
