The Thermasoft liner jacket keeps you toasty as you session a backcountry booter on the coldest day of the year. Remove the liner and hood, and open the ventilation zippers to let in some breeze when you rip a barely-there halfpipe weeks after the lifts stop running. The Venom Vision Jacket's stretch panels allow complete freedom of movement, so you can get maximum tweak out of your switch 540 and be able to shovel snow onto the booter without interference.

what is a powder shirt?

A powder SKIRT, is a sewn in piece of fabric that Velcro's, buttons or snaps underneath the jacket and in front, about wait level. It is designed to keep snow out and keep fun and dryness in. Save the wetness for the hot tub is what I say.

This is a great jacket and very versatile!! You can wear the jacket, you can just wear the vest which is attached to the jacket, you can detach the vest to make the jacket less warm. It has lots of "hidden" compartments for things like keys, license, credit cards, gloves, flask..(oopps, did I say that?). It was a great purchase!!
