Venom Poacher Jacket - Women's

Hitting untouched powder often involves a certain amount of uphill booting, rope-ducking, and, at last, a few powdery face-shots. Thanks to the Gore-Tex Pro Shell and fully taped seams, the Venom Women's Poacher Jacket keeps you dry turn after turn. Underarm zips work with back chimney vents to help you cool down, and the removable hood warms your noggin when you stop for a quick power break. Entry portals at the Poacher Jacket's waist allow you to secure your backpack waistband under your jacket, and light insulation in this Venom ski jacket works with your layers to keep you toasty.

Bottom Line: Venom's poacher takes untouched lines as seriously as you do.

Hi Linda,Safely without layering you could go down to the low to mid 20's. With a little layering magic you can easily go to 0º or beyond. Great jacket by the way!

disappointed

I knew this was THE jacket based on the waterproofness & breathability. The deal was sealed when I noticed the arm detail because I like to be stylin' down the slopes! However, I was very disappointed when the product arrived. You can't see the arm detailing at all and I didn't like the slippery feel of the gore tex fabric. I followed the size chart and the jacket was too big. I have big shoulders from being very athletic. I returned this jacket. In a nutsell, this does NOT look like a $600 jacket.

I only own Spyder ski pants in Firestone color - assuming it's the same, it's little more into orange but not orange enough (i'd prefer that).
