The Kota is very comfortable and fits my wide foot well. This kota is a good multi-purpose performer. I use it for hiking and light trail running as well as a gym shoe. I would definitely purchase it again.

This is my second pair of these shoes. The rubber became unglued on the toe of the shoe, a minor problem, so i retuned them. I actually wore the first pair on a trip to India, and found them to be second to none. The shoes are extremely stable, and extremely comfortable. There were many times when my step landed on the edge of a surface of step, and they unexpectedly held. The stiffness is also nice for the all day comfort, days or walking were much less tiring on my feet than I expected.

This shoe is a great light hiker. Feels very solid underfoot ... good cushion, while maintaining a stable platform. Lots of heel stability. I really like the shoe and have used it to do 2- to 3-night trips!

A good well fitting shoe (i have narrow feet) which i use mainly as an approach shoe. The sole is nice and grippy for walking on wet grass and there seems to be plenty of foot support for longer hikes. So far i have been very happy with the shoes.

Highly recommend these shoes. Comfortable and tough. Vasque has my vote!
