Just got the boots and they're amazing, I live in Keystone, Colorado and AVERAGE AT LEAST 100 days a year. The first day the boots seemed a bit tight but the boot loosened up and packed out just a little bit and they became very comfortable (I wear size 11.5 shoes mostly, SOMETIMES larger if i need them wider, I got the same for snowboard boots).I have a wide foot and the Vans have always seemed to be perfect to accomodate this and pac out well where foot is the widest and the toes are as well, and they are still able to keep my foot secure and comfortable. I actually hated snowboard boots when I first started because of how tight I would have to make the boot to secure a comfortable stiffness in them as I am a pretty big rider at over 200+lbs. I had previous Vans with the BOA system and these are even stiffer (which I like) and much lighter. I have had two previous pairs of Vans boots with the BOA lacing system (both Vans Contras), but both were only single BOA lacing systems and the Dual BOA's are much better. I am now able to leave the lower part of the boot a bit looser for comfort for my feet and a bit tighter up top for rippin down the mountain. Compared to my previous Van's boots pretty much everything has been improved on the boot except the rubber tread on the bottom which is the same as the pair I had from 3 years ago, but "if it aint broke dont fix it" i guess.... just wish it had a little more cushion for my big stompers, but its the only downside I see beside the $300+ price. 5/5 for the boot 4/5 for price (but the POW idea is cool, go winter!). Bottom line, I would buy the boot again. Hope this helps everybody else.
