Under Armour Short Boxer Jock - Men's

Imagine how good a breathable mesh crotch panel in your boxers would feel when you're sweating bullets on runs, hikes, and workouts. The articulated mesh crotch panel in the Under Armour Men's Short Boxer Jocks provides support, stability, and breathability, so the term “sweating your ballz off” doesn't apply to every workout sesh. The rest of the fitted Short Boxer Jocks' fabric wicks moisture and stretches.

Bottom Line: Because it can get hot and sweaty down under.

Good stuff be be careful ordering.

By:

After reading most of the reviews, I ordered 5 of these boxer jocks cause they were on sale. I am a size 33 waist so problem 1 came when I order them on the smaller side and got a medium figuring they would be stretchy. After trying them on I would have to go with the large instead of the medium.

Problem 2, they still crawl up even though some of the reviews say they don't. I have tried both the short boxer jocks and the longer ones but they both tend to ride up.

Problem 3 is that Backcountry was amenable to my returning the merchandise however, since it was an error in sizing, I would have to cover the cost. So most of my savings would have been eaten up on returning the merchandise. For that, I could have just bought them off the shelves of my local Academy or sports store.

Moral of the story...make sure you know what your buying before you buy it because returning them might cost more than what you actually save!

Ever tried the boxer jocks?

By:
May 25, 2009

If not you should, I bought both kinds at the same time. These and cold gear type. Just for the nike fans out there, the mesh crotch in these give your balls a cool constant breeze while just chillen, bar hoppin, and doin some common rompin on your turf. Honestly, I dont buy cotton anymore.Dont buy immitation, buy it dude.

why wear anything else

By: Backcountry.com Vendor Rep
April 13, 2009

These are the most comfortable underwear I have ever owned. The biggest bonus is I wear them for everything. I previously had boxers for everyday, and an assortment of Patagonia type briefs for skiing or outdoors activities. These work better than anything I have ever had...for all conditions. They are not too tight in the junk for everyday wear like most briefs. I am in the process of getting rid of all my other underwear. So far the durability has been great but I got my first couple of pairs about 6 months ago so its a little early to tell yet on that front.

Under Armour Short Boxer Jock

By:
May 25, 2009

The UA Short Boxer Jock is very comfortable and also gives you enough support if you find yourself running from the law or something. The mesh panel helps keep your junk cool as well as in place and the short version helps avoid the boxers bunching up on your legs. Pick up a pair and you won't be disappointed.

Good for cold weather

By:
April 25, 2009

Only downfall is that these are pretty warm. I wouldn't reccomend them for hot summer days, or anytime when you need ventilation. They are very comfortable and durable.

True Convert!

By:
May 18, 2009

I seldom make time to write reviews - AND I have NEVER felt the need to wax poetic about underwear; BUT these things are fantastic. True to size, great support, cool and light-weight. I through away my "tighty-whities" 25 years ago for boxers; And now I'm giving up my boxers for these.

Comfy boxers

By:
September 16, 2008

Wick well and keep you cool in warmer weather. I've found that they can have the tendency to ride up a little, but nothing too distracting. Quite slick; if you are going to working out or wearing basketball shorts, draw-string will be a must.

The Best

By:
December 15, 2008

I bought some of these a couple months ago, wore them and immediately had to buy a bunch more. They are the most comfy boxer briefs i've ever worn. The short length ones don't ride on me but the longer length ones did. I have a 31" waste and the mediums fit well.

Excellent

By:

They keep you "close" but at the same time dry. The double layer mesh in the front is an ingenious design. I got both the black and white, but I like the black better.

Great Athletic Brief

By:
January 29, 2009

These boxer jocks are a great play for anything from working out at the gym to hiking your favorite trail. Initially I only bought one pair because I was skeptical about the length. After wearing them on a half-day hike I realized I had not stopped to "adjust" once - I was sold. Now I pack these along for every athletic/outdoor activity.

BEST EVER!!!

By:
January 7, 2009

Personally, I've never worn them but my husband and stepson swear by them! They are leaving for a tour of duty in Afghanistan and they were both so happy to get them! Since they have to wear ACU's for long periods of time, they tell me they don't ride or crunch (if you know what I mean) and when the men in my life are comfortable, I'm happy! I HIGHLY recommend!

Very nice

By:
November 17, 2008

They are definitely comfy. They seem like they are well made to hold up in the long run. They breathe nicely and look good. They do ride up just a little like the other review mentioned but not in a troubling way like other underwear I have owned. If they were made with organic products they would have received a 5 stars.

Like these less than the older model.

By:
February 11, 2009

I got a couple pairs of these several years ago and loved em. I decided to get a few new pair about a month ago, so I got the 3" inseam boxerjock - thinking that was what I had bought before. Apparently, UA changed the design. What they call a 3" inseam is really about 1.25". With that short of an inseam, I find these underwear bunch up between my legs. The older pairs had just enough leg (about 3") to not ride up. These are acceptable, but I like them less than the older pairs I owned. I'll probably try the 5.75" shorts next time.
