Ultimate Direction Triumph Belt - 2008

Pack some extra fuel for your trail race in the Ultimate Direction Triumph Belt. This adjustable waist-belt with a quick-release buckle has a four-ounce gel flask and holster to carry your sports drink or gel of choice. The 3.5-ounce Triumph also features two mesh pockets and one zippered pocket to hold energy gel packs, keys, ID, or other small items. Two clips hold your race bib in place. Ultimate Direction made this belt with soft, stretchy fabric so it flexes with you as you run and doesn't rub uncomfortably.

Bottom Line: Wear the Ultimate Direction Triumph Belt to fuel up during your trail race, triathlon, or other event.

Recomend as gel only belt

By:

I bought this for my wife. I thought I was buying a belt with one water flask. She says she likes it but has trouble drinking water from the gel flask. I am not sure why you would need gel without water? I should have bought her the Thunderbolt belt.

Works Great!

I used this belt last weekend for the run portion of an Xterra (off road triathlon). The belt was very comfortable and secure with no movement while running. The holster carried the gel flask very securely, but the unzippered pocket did let one of my Hammer gel packs (that are a bit larger than some others) slip out. I used the belt to carry my gel and carried the Ultimate Direction Fastdraw water bottle by hand (which is one reason why you wouldn't need a belt to carry water).

No more pin holes

By:
July 3, 2008

I race often, and was getting tired of the little pin holes in my expensive running gear (I live in a WINDY climate, so am often wearing a wind vest or shirt-- pins are wicked on this type of fabric). This has solved the problem. I admit that I bought it mostly to avoid using pins, and rarely use the gel holder. Light, comfortable, nice place to stash a key or ID, but don't plan on putting much in there. Very comfortable. I'm happy.
