Tyrolia Peak 12 Binding - 2009

Tyrolia created the Peak 12 Binding specifically for park and powder. By reducing the stand height of the binding the designers put you closer to the ski to achievie better power transfer and feedback than a standard binding with riser plates.

Roller Pincer System uses four rollers and glide inserts to automatically center the boot on the binding and allow 180 degrees of release at the toe
The ABS band at the toe allows the boot to slide left and right without friction, which ensures stiction-free release
Increase Heel Contact Area provides constant forward pressure and reduces release friction
Wide brake accommodates most all-mountain and freestyle skis

Bottom Line: All-mountain versatility at a great price.

Is the Tyrolia Peak 12 binding appropriate for use with the K2

Is the Tyrolia Peak 12 binding appropriate for use with the K2 Apache Recon ski? I am an aggressive 70/30 skier and weigh 225 lbs.

Great binding for this price. At 225lbs you'll be on the high end of the DIN scale of this binding, but there should be plenty of retention for you. Enjoy!
