Tubbs Venture is a hiking snowshoe and fits men’s boot to size 13, so you may find trail shoes a little loose fitting. Could you run in the Venture yes absolutely but you may find the split claw crampon designed for climbing and descending will hinder your running stride, but this works great for hiking and some occasionally running, if you really want to run in snowshoes I would recommend the Atlas Run/Race which is a snowshoe entirely designed for running.

These seemed to be lighter than the ones I was renting at a certain other retailer, and much easier to adjust. Fits pretty much any shoe size so no reason a woman can't use them.

These are very adjustable. Foot size matters less then the size of the outside of your boot. Any boot that will not fit is most likely to big and heavy to snowshoe in anyways. Most ppl should have no problem.
