Thule Xsporter Multiheight Truck Rack

Maximize the space in the bed of your truck with looking like the Beverly Hillbillies thanks to the Thile Xsporter Multiheight Truck Rack. This adjustable racking system features raising load bars that accommodate both long and compact loads. In the low position, the Xsporter makes for easy loading and unloading of bikes, skis and other gear. When raised even with the cab, the rack holds your canoes and kayaks. The durable aluminum construction requires no drilling and leaves the bed of the truck open for storage, while the One Key system secures your gear.

Bottom Line: Give your truck even more functionality.

I have a 2004 Ford Ranger that I have the Xsporter Multiheight Truck Rack on I would like to know if I could put these on a 2008 Chevy Silverado with an 8 ft. box. If so would I need any adaptors to do this. What would be the parts number for the adaptors if needed?

It sits on top and around the bed rails so the bed liner should be fine, it might require trimming if its a plastic one. The tool box, depending on how wide it is might take up a lot of room and you won't be able to spread it out as far therefore reducing stability if you throw kayaks etc up there. Can you run them with the tool box? Yes but they just might not be spread far enough for your application.
