I checked Thule.com for a fit guide for my vehicle - 2009 Dodge Nitro w/ factory rack & cross bars - but this vehicle is not listed on their site. Will this rack fit my vehicle???

I have two set of the Thule Hull-a-port Kayak Carriers. I am concerned that my luggage rack on my car is not strong enough to support my Kayaks without some other attachment. I have a 2003 GMC Envoy SLE with the standard luggage rack and crossbars. Does Thule have something else that I need?

The Hullraiser racks are great! Two kayaks loaded and out the driveway in less than 10 minutes (and that's counting the time to carry the boats from the backyard!) The racks can be installed and uninstalled even more quickly- a key for me since I use my car to haul other things too. I bought a Yakima u-style kayak rack and didn't get as far as putting it on the car- it was too complicated and attached more permanently; very inconvenient. I like the closed short end on the bars of my older model better but the new one is okay. Would definitely recomment this product.

This is my 12.5 foot OLd Town Adventure 125 kayak in the hull-a-port rack. You can see the two load straps keeping the boat secure. And bow and stern tie down for added security.

I waited until the morning I was going to pick up my kayak before taking the Thule Hull-a-port Kayak Carrier out of the box. I was stoked to find that installation required no tools!! It's all included in the box with a great directions page. The only tricky part is the bowline. If, like me, it's been a long time since you tied one of these (something about the rabbit hopping out of a hole and around a tree... ), just hop on YouTube. It will come back to you in about 3 minutes. The hardware is solid.

According to Thule you can. I've seen 2 on top of both the 9.3 and 9.5. So you should be fine!
