I can get my kayak in and secure in this rack in less than 5 minutes. It is fun to watch your friends monkey around with other racks while I quickly and easily mount up my boat. The tie down straps are durable and don't loosen up. The ratcheting bow and stern straps that come with this make your boar extra stable. Worth the price to safely and securely travel with your boat. A great investment.

Have it on my Jeep Cherokee holding an 11ft Ocean Kayak. Perfect rack without a single problem. Other kayakers (even surfers) will ask me about it. Takes less than 2 minutes to put the kayak up there and get it all strapped in.

This is a great rack system for your kayak! My husband and I have two on top of our SUV and it's great to be able to throw both yaks on top and go! Another cool thing about them is you can slide your factory roof racks off with the hull-a-ports still attached and put them in the vehicle while you're on the river! Convenient so no one steals them from you and you don't have to taken them apart!!

Excellent piece of equipment at a great price. Almost $50 cheaper than anywhere else I priced. Easy loading/unloading from back of truck. Easy installation and removal. Fits dealer installed rack (Honda Ridgeline) and boat is very stable when completely tied and secured.

I am simply amazed of how easy the Thule Hull-A-Port makes loading and unloading of my kayaks. Installation took only minutes and it worked with my factory bars on a GMC Jimmy with no problems.

Received the Hull-a-Port cradles for my kayak quickly and the best price anywhere on the net. They install very quickly and remove as fast especially when mounted on my vehicle they won't allow my Jeep to pull into the garage--too high, but ease of assy. is not a big problem. Suggest anyone buying Hull-a-port cradles think that one out ahead of time. My other Kayak mounts don't have that problem but the price you pay for convenience.

I bought wheels with which to roll my kayak up onto the top of the car. I find it difficult to roll it up and get it tipped enough to fit correctly into the hull-a-port. So when using just one kayak, I will place it flat on top and strap it down. The hull-a-port makes it possible to place 2 kayaks comfortably on top, and I have help to place it correctly.
