Thule Helium 2 Bike Rack

Some hitch racks are so heavy that mounting them requires an abnormal amount of sweating and cursing. Not so with the Thule Helium 2 Bike Rack—Thule made this rack with a lightweight, easy-to-handle aluminum construction. Plus the narrow distance between the cradle arms works well for women’s and kids’ bikes (no adaptors necessary). Does the Helium 2 (970) have integrated locks?

yes. it has a locking mechanism that keeps it secure in your receiver (there is a locking knob that tightens it to the hitch), and there is an integrated cable lock built in that locks the bikes to the rack.

Nope, just thick rubber straps. You'll need a long cable lock to secure it to the mount if you want to lock your bikes.

I think this rack is pretty high quality. I've only used it a few times so far. I like the bike cradles and straps, and the locks are good too. The locking knob gets the rack nice and snug in the receiver. I think it's a litter overpriced though, 280 for a 2-bike rack is a bit much.
