Won't work if you have a sunroof.........

Don't get me wrong. Thule makes great stuff and their racks are very solid and sturdy. I know people who have them and I am impressed by their quality.

I have a 98 Acura Integra coupe which has a very short roof line. So Thule makes a rack specially for this car (they make one specially for a VW Beetle too which also has a very short roof line).

Well, this woud work fine if my Integra didn't have a sunroof. Unfortunately, the support bars under the load bars prevent the sunroof from opening. Oops!! Had to return it :-(

Will this rack fit my car. I have a 1990 Honda Accord 4 four, I know it was made for Acuras but I know Honda are very similar and I was hoping someone might know if it will fit.

Thule makes this particular rack for the Acura Integra because of its unusual roof shape. I don't think your 1990 Honda Accord is that unusual in its profile so you could probably use Thule's general purpose rack. Check their website. They will walk you through the right selection based on the make and model of your car.

Just one warning though, if your car has a sunroof, you may no longer be able to open it because there will be no clearance under the support bars!

I bought this rack to haul around my canoe and a future kayak. So far it has performed great. Fits my car well and holds a ton of weight. I've also used it to hold down fishing rods and long pole nets. Also I used the rear rack as a tie down recently to use my ratchet straps and secured a dirt bike in my trunk and routing the straps around the load bars and worked great. My biggest fear since that would have been the point of failure was that it would give, but it held on and I was able to transport the bike in a 4 hour drive.
