Therm-a-Rest Trail Pro Sleeping Pad - Women's

The Therm-a-Rest Women's Trail Pro Sleeping Pad puts two inches of padding between you and the ground, and this mattress is still quite packable. Is it cheating to be this comfortable while camping? We're not sure. MSR also included more foam in specific areas of the Trail Pro Pad so outdoor gals stay warmer. A textured ripstop polyester upper layer keeps the Trail Pro from traveling while you sleep, and the durable nylon bottom battles sharp sticks and rocks.

Bottom Line: Bring women's-specific, drool-worthy padding on short backpacking trips.

Actually this pad does not come with a stuff sack. Cascade Designs sells their stuff sacks separately because they are good enough to be considered by themselves as a high-end piece of gear. Thermarest stuff sacks are very well made and have a lifetime warranty and many awesome features including a daisy chain, high quality materials and construction, and the right fit for the specific pad. Although they are an added expense, you should feel a little at ease that you know your pad will be protected with a stuff sack that should last as long as the pad does...

The title says it all. This Women's Thermarest is awesome. I slept so comfortable in a tent for 7 nights and did not wake up with my usual aching hips or back. The one draw back is the length. I'm pretty short 5'2" and I didn't have a lot of extra leg room so if you're a taller women it might be too short.

The pad weighs 1lb 15oz and is 66 inches long (5.5ft). It's 2 inches thick (the lightest 2 inch pad that Thermarest makes). The women's Trail Pro is also the most insulative (ie. warmest) backpacking mattress Thermarest makes.

My 50 + bones really appreciated my indulging in this padding. I slept all night and didn't wake during the night with my usual aching hips or back depending upon my position. I can still stay out in the woods all night. Yippee!
