Comfortable & Dependable

By:
October 27, 2009

I use this sleeping pad for backpacking and motorcycle camping. I also recently started using it inside my travel trailer. It makes the RV bed a little more comfortable. The 1.5" thickness seems to be just right. I've tried a 1", and it was just too thin. Anything thicker would be too heavy and take up too much space. I'm 5'4", and the length is just right for me. It does a good job insulating me from the cold ground and provides enough cushion and support for me to sleep on my side. It's been comfortable and dependable during the two years I've been using it.

Very comfortable

By:
November 11, 2009

I brought this sleeping pad on a 30 day NOLS course in Alaska. We slept on many scree fields and I was still comfortable as can be. It was also very insulating and I was never cold. I had a women's specific sleeping bag which fit perfectly on the pad, not too long or short. Towards the end of the course, it did get a hole due to a sharp jagged rock sticking out of the tundra. I was able to fix it with the repair kit and it has worked just as well since.
