These hammocks are great. It is so light weight and strong. I bought at least 10 over the past three years to give out as gifts and everyone has always been pleased. I use them when I pack through the backcountry and also at home! Try it you will love it!
Danny--Just noticed that you have one of these hammocks, why then would you be asking where it was manufactured? You can easily look on the wash label to see where they are made...I smell something fishy. Could it be that you are a competitor, or perhaps a friend of a competitor?? We make our hammocks with the BEST parachute nylon material in the world, there is no better.
Nice hammock. Plenty of room for 1, very comfortable, east to set up, stuff sack/pocket came in handy, paracord looks cheap but held me up well enough to keep me off the ground. Replaced the heavy S-hooks with light-weight aluminum carabiners and purchased heavy-duty nylon climbing daisy chains to wrap around the tree just in case the paracord didn't work. I'm 170 and almost 6' tall and simply had no problems, I fell asleep fast. Well worth the price to get you off the ground. Don't wear anything with sharp edges such as jeans with rivets or anything with zippers or this baby will rip! That's probably why they instruct you to set-up no more than 18" off the ground.
i bought this hammock for my boyfriend and he can't enough of it. he lives in an apartment, with limited space but he has a balcony where lounges in his hammock all day long on the weekend, he even sleeps in it at night when the weather is nice.
how comfortable is this hammock to sleep in over night? I am looking for a good hammock to go camping in and sleep in...would this hammock be good for that?
If you have one you know, if you don't you need one. Such a killer product! I've given away a handful as gifts and the people that receive one always end up giving one away too. We've formed a little club and all like hanging out together. Truly the best hammock in the world.
Looking for a hammock in a bag for a soldier deploying to Iraq. Currently looking at TTH001. How much weight will it hold? Needs to be at least 250 lbs. Would an open weave be better?
Taken at the beach while a friend was playing some music for us. He insisted the only way he would play was from the hammock. He purchased his own the next day!
I use this to hike in and with the proper practice to get the "hang" right, is very comfortable. Don't hang too tight, sit in the middle before laying to get your tension/height right on it. Use the bliss tree STRAPS that don't stretch.
I've had this just a little over a week now, and I love it. I can set it up pretty much anywhere. Takes 1-2 minutes to set up, very comfortable. I recommend it!
Great build quality, packs down great. I've been using it between two trees on campus near the caf. and everybody looks at me like, "I can't believe I didn't think to do that first." Homework doesn't feel like homework anymore. I've taken it up camping a couple of times and its great for lounging, not for sleeping in. Trust me, your back will remind you never to sleep in a hammock again.
It is a very comfortable, breathable, and light weight hammock. Has its stuff sack attached to it so you wont loose it and the stuff sack also works like a pocket to put any stuff that might be in your pockets.
You might also want to buy the ENO Slap Strap system to hang the hammock up since it just comes with some rope.
Some advice: Set it up nice and tight (not to tight) and your body wont be bent uncomfortably.
I purchased a single hammock about 10 months ago. During its maiden voyage, I found myself on the ground after wiggling around, looking for the sweet spot. The only spot I found was the ground! The fabric split right downthe middle! Fortunately I wasn't injured and I was able to get a replacement hammock (although I was without a hammock for a couple of weeks though). This hammock seems to be holding up OK. Some of my friends have another brand which feels and looks to be better quality (although slightly more expensive). They use their hammocks on an almost daily basis and their hammocks seem to be "aging" at a much slower rate. Their warranty is only 2 years compared to my 10, but their is definately a difference in materials and craftsmanship. If I had to do it over again, I would've paid $55 dollars and received a superior product from another company.
