The North Face Winter Mountain Shoe - Men's

After the sun has set on another great day of ski touring or ice climbing, pull on The North Face Men’s Winter Mountain Shoe and head down to hoist a few pints with your buddies. This eco-friendly sneaker features a suede and textile upper that’s lined with wool for warmth. A bamboo shank provides support, and cork and plant cellulose form the cushioning base. The North Face also slapped on a partially recycled rubber sole for added grip on the slippery stumble home.

this shoe is real nice. its one of my favorite shoes Ive ever worn, its comfortable, warm, and has some cool features. There is a bamboo sheet that forms the sole underneath the traction and it provides a nice stiffness and spring to the shoe. and my favorite thing about it that it features art by TNF athlete Renan Ozturk on the insole.

Is it waterproof?

This piece is not waterproof. There is a North Face shoe called the Winter Sneaker that is waterproof and lightly insulated - great looking shoe. It should be coming into stock in the next week to 10 days. It doesn't look like your typical winter footwear - very casual.

It has the sole of a boot, yet the comfort and style of a shoe. The tan colored strip is actually a solid strip of some sort of adhesive. The color is actually a little darker than the photo lets on. Great for walking around in cold snowy days. With the grippy sole you won't be the guy who slips and falls. Don't be that guy.
