The North Face WindStopper Hybrid Vest - Women's - 2008

What’s The North Face Women’s WindStopper Hybrid Vest a hybrid of? Gore WindStopper, a stretchy breathable knit, and biconstituent fiber. And somewhere in that mix, a UPF 30 rating. This vest blocks wind as you run or bike, carbon from bamboo in the biconstituent fiber blocks odor and wicks moisture, and a drop-tail hem covers your lower back when you bend over to tighten your shoes or lean into that long hill on your ride. A zippered stash pocket in back and three pockets in front hold energy gel and keys.

Bottom Line: A sweet mix for running, biking, or hiking.

It doesn't, but it's not a high collar. I'm also assuming that ken is a guy's name, in which case I feel obligated to point out that this is a women's vest and you will not fill it very well.

I wore it today in my trail run and it performed as described - blocks wind, wicks moisture and dry fast. Also, it is light, not bulky and takes up very little room in my backpack. This little vest is very stylish, snug fitting (not tight) and looks terrific. It is true to sizing, so order a "Small" if you normally wear a "small". I like this so much that I am going to order the black one also!

Big shoulders

Unfortunately, this vest was too big in the shoulder region. I wear a small across the board, and if anything, jackets and shirts tend to be tighter in my shoulder area due to climbing arms. Generally, North Face tends to run big for me compared to other brands.
