The North Face Wasatch Bx Sleeping Bag: 40-Degree Heatshield

Summer camping in the Utah’s northern mountains calls for a cozy sleeping bag such as The North Face Wasatch Bx Sleeping Bag. The North Face stuffed this 40-degree sleeping bag with Heatshield Optimal Technology (HOT) SL, a lightweight, durable synthetic insulation that traps air. Your body heat warms that air to help you stay toasty after sunset when temps drop. Overlapping shingle construction eliminates cold spots, and a hood zipper lets you cover your face against a cold draft or vent when the night is balmier than you expected. Stash your headlamp in the shoulder-level zip pocket, and get comfy.

Bottom Line: Make your mountainside bed cozy with the Wasatch.

Will the additional spacer that fits the Blue Igloo and Blue Kazoo models work with this bag? If not, is there another spacer sold to fit this bag?

The North Face doesn't make those anymore, but zipper lengths were standardized within the company quite a few years ago, so it should fit.

Pretty tight across the waist and shoulders, but plenty of length and it packs up to just about nothing. Spent 3 nights in Wisconsin at about 45 degrees and was absolutely toasty. Pretty stripped down and packable.
