The North Face Venus Ski Jacket - Women's - 2006

Warm day on the slopes? Stay comfortable with the incredibly breathable performance of The North Face Women's Venus Ski Jacket. Apex Weatherblock softshell material keeps your body more comfortable than hardshell materials when the temps rise. The windproof, water-resistant Venus Ski Jacket fights off nasty weather that arrives as you finish your 12th run of the day. A RECCO reflector adds extra safety to in-bounds skiing. This softshell ski jacket from The North Face is just the thing to make spring bluebird days your favorite of the year.

Bottom Line: Not too hot, not too cold. The North Face Venus Ski Jacket provides just the right amount of warmth and weather protection for mild-weather ski days.

I sent this jacket to change the size...

By:
January 25, 2007

On the review the say the size is bigger than ordinary ones. No, it isn't. So I am waiting for new jacket now. I'm skinny and 5 feet 4 inches tall, but extra small is too small for me.

Venus Ski Jacket

By:

Jacket has been excellent. Worn as the primary layer for a 2000 mile winter move from Florida to Colorado. With the addition of a shell it became a great all around setup.

Awesome!!

Love this jacket. It is exactly what I wanted. No complaints. Fits perfect right out of the box. Very warm. Perfect for rain too. I am 5'2 and ordered a small. Also looks nice enough to wear with semi- dressy pants.

Good soft shell

By:
December 22, 2006

This is a great soft shell jacket. The material is awesome and I like the hood. However, it's a little short for my liking. I'd maybe get a size bigger than I normally do, just so it's a little longer. Other than that, it's a great jacket!

Very versatile. My new favorite jacket.

I bought this jacket specifically because the description says it is windproof. A recent fire evacuation at work had me testing this jacket with the windchill at -25F. I happily discovered that this jacket is in fact windproof and with a zippered hoody underneath, I was comfortable. It's also great on warmer winter days as the second layer. Although the size chart puts me in a large, a medium fits me perfectly.

Sleek and stylish

I bought this jacket in pink. It has nice lines, and is great for wearing alone on warmer ski days or under another shell.
