Great Pants!

By:

I recently went on a backpacking trip through Alaska, and true to its word, not a drop of rain ever touched my legs. They are extremely lightweight, and very durable. They were a little baggy on me, I'm 5'4 and bought a size small, but they kind of reminded me of snowboarding pants! I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for true waterproof pants. *Happy hiking!*

Definitely think so as i wore mine over a pair of hiking pants and they fit fine.
I have a pair of medium pants (kind of a large fitting pants as I thought i would normally be a large). They fit women with curves!
Wore them hiking in Patagonia recently and they were great!
Defintely recommend them.

Great Pants!

I am typically an 8 in TNF, and I picked up a Medium. I'm am very happy with their fit. They are a touch long, but I remedy that by rolling the waist. I love that they have zipping pockets! I haven't tried them in the rain yet as it hasn't been above freezing for the at least a month, but I'm sure that they will hold up to their claims. These pants have been indispensable for my early, cold morning runs with my dogs. I've been layering them over a pair of winter tights or capilene. This setup is warm enough until it gets really cold. When the temps drop below 15F, I throw my knee high gaiters on to trap the heat and I stay toasty warm.

Would you use these to snowshoe?....I need warmish pants to snowshoe

Would you use these to snowshoe?....I need warmish pants to snowshoe and I need to keep the backs of my legs dry...kick back from my snowshoes makes the calves wet. If I wore long underwear under them would they be warm enough?

Depends what you need them for.

I recently wore these on a hiking trip to the Olympic Peninsula in WA. Very wet and rainy area known for its high rainfall and temperate rain forest. Although it is true that these pants do keep out water whether it be mist, fog or rain the fit is lacking. They are very high in the waist and fit more like men's pants than womens. I recommend getting one size smaller than what you wear. I'm a size 14 and the XL was way to big on me. The pants are very durable, I fell several times on slippery terrain and the pants did keep me nice and dry and no rips were seen. When walking you get the tell tale swish, but that's to be expected with rain pants. If you're looking for durable adventure then these pants are for you, but if you want to show that you have any shape then choose something different.
