Anyone had an issue with footprints when it rains? Mine acts

Anyone had an issue with footprints when it rains?

Mine acts like a collection basin under my tent during rain events. Even with the fly all the way down to the ground, water still seems to pool between the tent bottom and the footprint. It doesn't happen with a tarp. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced something similar.

Sure have. It's a huge pain but I guess that's what we have to deal with. I have found that when the footprint is slightly tucked underneath the tent, so it isn't visible, it tends to help quite a bit. I did get stuck in a downpour and still had some accumulation but things seemed to be better. Hope that helps.

A simple foot print to prolong the life of your tent. So easy to use, it doesn't need instructions. It's pretty cheap too, so get it!!

A footprint is a custom ground cloth for your tent, it goes underneath your tent when you set it up. It is made to match up with the shape and size of the floor of your tent. Do you need it no, will it protect the floor of your tent and increase the life of you tent yes. Another bonus is it can create a floor for tents that have fly only pitching (Ability to pitch just the rain fly with out the tent body).

This footprint is specifically designed for the Vario 23, so chances are that it isnt going to work with the Moraine 23 or any other type of tent for that matter.
