The North Face Vaporwick Featherlight Crew Shirt - Short Sleeve - Women's - 2008
Pull on The North Face Women's VaporWick FeatherLight Crew T-Shirt and stay dry as you sweat out that extra mile. This short-sleeve shirt's light, soft material transfers sweat away from your skin to keep you comfortable. The North Face stitched the VaporWick FeatherLight Crew Shirt with princess seams down the sides to give this performance T-shirt a form-fitting look.
Bottom Line: The VaporWick fabric in The North Face FeatherLight Crew T-Shirt keeps you dry on your long weekend hikes.
This shirt is really great. You can see through it. I have one in white, red, and black. I really like them. My work place can get really hot sometimes and this shirt looks great and feels great!
Got this in the tangelo orange which may not be available any longer. Anyway, really comfortable - love the longer length so no gaping midriff. Is comfortable while running and it also looks good just stylin'.
I ordered the white because when I'm hiking in the summer I don't want to bake in the sun. But it is extremely see-through even with my nude bra on. I loved the fit and would possibly deal with a little bit of see-through but this was ridiculous. I bet the other colors would be great though.
I had a black, which I loved, so I ordered a blue and orange as well. The blue is perfect, but the orange was WAY too transparent, almost worse than the white. The fit is form fitted, without being snug - perfect!
The medium fit me perfectly, form-following but not tight; the green is lovely and not see-through; the length is great, especially given the current fashion for pants that let your belly hang out.
Yes, the material is rather thin BUT that makes the shirts really light, they pack much better than a cotton T ever would and they dry really fast. I took two of the shirts on a 2 week backpacking trip and I liked their performance: when I rinsed them out at night, they were dry in the a.m., very comfy to wear. I am 5'6 with a 34 bust (small cup) and the Med fits me well (not body tight). The shirts have a good length and due to two additional seems in the front they provide a contoured fit. They do pick up odor after a while (which other non-treated material that is not merino doesn't?!) but as I said, they dry fast, so washing them even when on the go is no problem.
I got the white one and you can see right through it. It fits well but I wear it under shirts so as not to show my world. It still works great under shirts to help keep me cool though.
I bought the medium, which is the size I usually wear (the sizing chart said medium would fit 35.5-37, I'm about 36.5). It was extremely tight across the chest, and when I moved my arms forward, the shirt cut into my back - definitely not good for a shirt designed for active use. I sent it back and got a large, but it feels like a tent and will soon be going back as well (it fits just about right around the chest, though). I'm very disappointed because the fabric was extremely soft and light-weight, and the medium fit well in the shoulders and around the stomach/hips. If you're smaller chested, it would probably be a great shirt.
Great fit, flattering fit. Not form-fitting, and not loose. Nice length. No worries about shrinkage. Lightweight and more comfortable than a cotton tee in hot weather. I first got the black, then got the orange, which appears more sheer.
I love the fit and the feel of this shirt. I love the length...I find a lot of tech tees to be short and wide. I have it in green and white and even though the white is see through, it doesn't really matter if you're wearing a sports bra . I love that it looks like a regular tee even thoguh it's not cotton.
