The North Face Valhalla Softshell Jacket - Men's

great jacket

so far i've really enjoyed this jacket. it does a great job of blocking the wind and repelling water. Not the warmest jacket ever, but what one would expect from a softshell. the fit is great - i'm 5'11 175lbs and ordered a medium. it's close enough to an "athletic fit" that it can be worn with just a shirt underneath and not be baggy, but there is enough room for me to fit my insulated jacket underneath it when warmth is important.
the cuff design is nice, and i appreciate the alpine pockets that don't get in the way of a harness.
the only obvious room for improvement would be pit-zips for added versatility/ventilation.
overall great jacket.
