sufficient, but could be better

The footprint is thinner than what I was expecting, but does pack nicely because of this. It didn't allow any moisture or sweating to come through the bottom of the tent when camping over a weekend. I'd recommend looking for a tarp (or the like) and giving that a try as an inexpensive alternative before purchasing.
