The North Face Thermastretch Tight - Men's - 2008

The North Face Men's Thermastretch Tight is your secret weapon for cool-weather runs, rides, and hikes. They're feather-light but pack a punch in the performance division: carbon from bamboo is incorporated in the tight's fibers and does an excellent job regulating your temperate. The ever-so-handy bamboo carbon also provides UV protection, odor absorption, wicking abilities, and dries lightning-fast so you don't feel soggy or clammy after your run. Calf zippers allow you to adjust your fit and ventilation, and reflective trim tells approaching cars to watch out. They wouldn't want to collide with something as solid as your runner self in the North Face Thermastretch Tight—they'd definitely get the raw end of the deal.

How will these tights work for winter running in Colorado?

I would rate them as average in terms of warmth. They are moderately insulated but not super warm. Unless you're warmer than Utah, which is 25ºf right now.

Great outer layer. I use it over bike shorts in 20 degree weather. Excellent fit, but of course its stretchy.
