The North Face TKA 100 Natasha Jacket - Women's - 2008
We don't always associate a luxurious finish and soft, cozy comfort with high-performance fabric. The North Face Women's TKA 100 Natasha Jacket is here to strengthen the comfort-plus-performance synapses in your brain. This jacket's lightweight, quick-drying microfleece fabric keeps your torso warm, breathes so you won't suffocate as you heat up on a fall hike, and resists pilling. Design lines add eye-pleasing detail, and two zippered front pockets hold keys and a wallet for trips into town, or lip balm and tissues when you're on the trail.
I bought this jacket over a year ago for a ski trip and have worn it tons since. I'm tall (5'10") and it fits in my arms and torso! It's fitted throughout with a flare at the hip and has a little bit of stretch in it so the shoulders aren't too tight. 4 pockets, two outside and the interior lining can be used as inner pockets. Colorfast. Longer in back than in front; a very smart design!
I bought the white color. I wore it on cool summer mornings in Yellowstone and the Tetons and it was the perfect weight. Also was great fishing in the evenings when it started to get windy. The zippered pockets hold a digital camera nicely. It washed perfectly when I got home.
I am 5'3" weigh 120 lbs. I bought a M and it was a bit snug through the bust. I wore it for several days in a row backpacking through North Carolina/Tennessee during the latter part of September. The mornings and evenings were in the 40s. I wore a TKA vest along with the jacket and it was warm but I wished I had brought a heavier weight fleece. That said, it is very comfortable and looks great too.
I live in Wausau, Wisconsin. It's a town in central Wisconsin, where winters get VERY cold. I like to keep some type of fleece in my locker to put on in the fall and winter during class, or something that's just good for hanging around the house on weekends. Do you think this would be a good jacket for the type of wear?
this is a tka 100 so its the lightest of the fleeces in the north face line.if you're thinking a nice cozy fleece for a very cold temperatures. I would NOT go for this jacket. Maybe something more along the lines of the North Face Denali, North Face Scythe would be the type of fleece you'd be looking for. a 300 weight fleece.
I actually got this jacket in a Scheel's Sporting Good store for $70. It is very soft and does not attract hair from pets. It is a jacket perfect for keeping in your locker when classes are a bit chilly. It is thin, though. Its great for me but maybe you are looking for something heavier. Overall a great jacket!! And to the lady who didn't get it shipped to you - go to the store and get it!! Don't give the jacket a bad review just because of where you live.
100 weight is really light. It sounds to me like you might be looking for a high-loft fleece. I would look at the Oso hoodie or the Sythe Jacket if you want something high-loft.
Let 'er rip. What can I say? I would have loved this jacket if you would have sent it to me! Don't understand why some North Face items are available in Canada and other are not! Would still like to have this jacket if possible.
