The North Face TKA 100 Masonic Hooded Fleece Jacket - Women's

The North Face gave the Women’s TKA 100 Masonic Hooded Fleece Jacket figure-friendly design lines to contour to your shape and layer easily with other clothing. Light, double-sided brushed fleece wicks perspiration away and provides a bit of insulation against the mountain chill. Gathered pockets make a nice resting spot for your hands, and a big hood keeps your ears warm when you hang out at your hike’s destination. Zip it over a tee for hikes, layer it under a shell for skiing, or cruise out for a bike ride.

Bottom Line: A lighter, better, hooded fleece.

a micro-fleece hoodie with a little bit of gathering to give a good fit--I wear this one all the time.

Love it!

I ordered this thinking it'd be too thin, but was willing to find out, well it ended up being absolutly perfect. I am a power walker and for the fall it is great. Its already fall where I live. Its light enough to layer, but not too heavy to get to warm. I have washed it several times and there is no signs of pilling.
Recommend getting this, its great, and I got the brown.

Help! I am debating which size to order: a medium or large! I have a down north face coat in a medium, and it fits great. I usually wear a large in burton shells, an 8 in obermeyer. I am a broad shouldered 5' 8". The description on this says form fitting so I am wondering order a large?

I own this jacket in the medium, which is the size I usually wear in shirts and jackets - I'm 5'11", 135lbs, mid-B-size cup, size 8 pants. It fits great (an athletic fit) and I'm glad I did not get the large. My only complaint is that I can't really use the thumb holes because the arms aren't quite long enough. However, it's rare that any shirt has long enough arms for me so no shocker there!
(I have the 2008 version, and I'm assuming the specs are the same.)

Based on this info, I would order a large.

Sounds to me like the large would be a safer bet. Even though it is a "fitted" piece, I still consider it casual as opposed to a performance piece - so I think it makes sense to go with the size that will give you a little bit more room.
Hope this helps-

I consider 100 to be lightweight fleece (which the Masonic is), 200 to be mid-weight, and 300 to be heavyweight.

love this jacket!

This is a great jacket! It is warm and the hood fits really great on your head and doesn't come down over your eyes. The arms are long in it which is usually a problem I have with coats. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good coat at a great price.
