The North Face Sweeper Backpack carries all your books for class and your gear for after-school sports. Two compartments and an organizer keep everything in its place, so you don't have to dig through your bag for ten minutes every time you need a pen. The North Face even added a front stretch pocket that can hold a basketball. A hydration port, water bottle pockets, and removable waist-belt round out the features on the Sweeper Backpack.
Bottom Line: You never know when you might need to strap a basketball (or small dog) to your pack, so take along The North Face Sweeper Backpack.
I purchased the backpack primarily as a travel bag/gym bag. The bag is set up perfectly. Plenty of space to store your shirts/shorts and a separate compartment to store sweaty gear as well as your shoes. Extra internal pockets provide ample space for Ipods, pens, earphones, etc. Cargo net on the outside works great for storing/toting sweatshirts/jackets. Just what I was looking for w/o purchasing a suit case.
I'm going to be a college freshman this year and I'm looking for a backpack that will fit my bags in it and my laptop. I also might use it for gear...but most of the time I will go back to my room for that. I am 5'4" and have a history of mild back problems. Should I be looking at the Jemma, the Borealis, or this one?
it is a great backpack...until i noticed the straps are ripping! a month in i already had to duct tape it and 2 months in i had to exchange it for a new one because they completely ripped off!
This bag is great! I travel a lot & wanted a bag that would easily fit into the over head compartment of an aircraft & would hold a few days worth of cloths with all the toiletries I need including a hand towel. I was a little disappointed about the bottom compartment. I was hoping that it would be completely separate from the interior storage. Unfortunately if you put a pair of shoes in the bottom (size 10 women) & a hand towel it invades on the storage place of the main compartment. Needless to say I learned to pack my travel bag by the bottom compartment first then the main compartment. This is the first bag that actually fits my back. Its not too long like most bags.
**Special note** The customer service personal are all ways very helpful. Major kudos to them! =)
I love my back pack! You guys did an awesome job on setting up an easy to use website and shipping was extremely fast! their quote was from 5-7 days and i received it the next day. good job guys/gals! :)
does it really rip? because i want to get one because i just had an adidas backpack for school and it broke and i got it in september so i need a backpack that is strong enough to hold my stuff like sneakers, gym clothes and books. hopefully this is strong enough for all that stuff.
This is the best backpack I've ever used; It carries everything for school plus workout items. I put my hemet in the front mesh part too; no other bag goes that so well. It has 2 places for drinks...I love it.
I was looking for a bag that could carry both my work (i.e. 15" laptop & notebooks) and workout gear (shoes, shorts, shirts, etc). This bag exceeded my needs. It easily holds my office supplies and workout clothes.
I love my new backpack. I especially like the bottom compartment for storing my gym clothes and shoes separately. The front compartment is handy for slipping in things I want easy access to. The side netting for water bottles seems good and sturdy too, which I like. The inside holds all my things so they are organized and easy to find. I use my pack daily during the week. I wish the bottom of the pack was flatter, but that's only a minor complaint--adjusting my belongings in the bottom compartment helps with that.
This pack offers everything. Fits my macbook, books and gym gear and its very comfortable. The only thing that might be considered a bad thing is the pack does not have a flat bottom surface so it can rest on the floor, but thats not a big deal
