The North Face Scrambler Convertible Pant - Men's - 2008

Travel, hiking, backpacking, climbing—The North Face Men's Scrambler Convertible Pant does it all thanks to an incredibly versatile design. When the going gets warm on the trail, just zip off the Scrambler Pants' legs to convert them to a pair of shorts. The North Face used gusseted crotch construction to ensure you're not held back when you take these pants (or shorts) up a rock climb. These pants even have an internal security pocket to hold your valuables while you travel.

Bottom Line: The North Face Scrambler Convertible Pants take on any situation with absolute confidence.

Yes, the North Face offers short, regular, and long versions of the pant. I had to order mine from a local shop who could special order the pants directly from TNF. The length of the short doesn't change between pant lengths, it's always 12 inches (about knee length). I'm a 36/30, so the large (size) short (length).

Cheap material

Under normal use (walking, not even hiking!), material seems to (fuzz)ball up when rubbed against each other. I only used them as weekend pants going to New York City.

I've owned a few pairs of TNF Paramount Convertible pants and this never happened to any of them. It has a more relax fit to it compare to the TNF Scrambler Convertible.

Unfortunately, I'm stuck with 2 pairs of these pants. I do not recommend them at all.
