The North Face Scarlet Jacket - Women's - 2008

The North Face Women's Scarlet Jacket has no problem going against the grain. While the waterproof breathable fabric and fully taped seams are no huge diversion from The North Face's hardcore weatherproof line, the all-over print on this jacket steps style up a notch. Light synthetic insulation lines this freeride jacket, while Underarm zips create armhole coolage when you're booting up for some out-of-bounds freshies. The pow skirt snaps back for trips into town.

Bottom Line: Step it up.

Whatever you want. Depends how cold it is, but there's no laws about your base layers.

I looooove this coat! The pattern is super cute and the colors are great. It is a little bit more roomy, but I like that since it's not the warmest coat and a fleece fits perfectly underneath! Tons of usefull pockets, gator, goggle wiper, MP3 player pocket and everything. The only negative comment I can come up with is the hood is a bit big so when it's on your perriferial vision isn't the best.

We went skiing two weeks ago it was 15 degrees with a wind chill of 0 and my wife never said she was cold once. Great looking jacket TNF and back country have made my wife warm and happy.
Thanks
