The North Face Sacred Cliff 3/4 Pant - Men's - 2008

The North Face Men's Sacred Cliff ¾ Pants have a 22-inch inseam, so your ankles and shins stay cool and your knees won't shred when you find the perfect knee-bar rest on your climb. Nylon keeps the Sacred Cliff ¾ Pants lightweight and durable, while a bit of elastane provides stretch. The North Face included a gusseted crotch for your high-reach footwork, two front hand pockets, and a back zipper pocket for storage.

I'm thinking about these pants, but I'm sorta worried that they are super lightweight... I Like the fact that they are so flexible, but don't want to worry about tearing them...

They're "hearty"--no worries on the tearing. I think Backcountry would take them back, as well, if you did have a problem.
