The North Face Rolling Thunder Duffel - 4455 - 8400cu in

Pack ski gear into The North Face Rolling Thunder Duffel for a weekend getaway, or fill this rolling duffel to the brim for an extended trip to South America. The North Face made the Rolling Thunder Duffel from nearly invincible tarpaulin and a go-cart frame with an aluminum chassis that withstands rough handling and supports heavy loads. Grab this duffel’s wing handles, shove the bag onto your car’s roof rack, and strap it down for the trip to the ski area or the airport. Despite this duffel’s name, reinforced inline skate wheels glide quietly to the airline check-in counter and don’t falter when you pull this bag through light snow or on uneven sidewalks. Inside the Rolling Thunder, compression straps help stabilize your load.

Bottom Line: This bag will hold the kitchen sink.

The TPE fabric that this bag is made out is waterproof, however the seams and zipper's are not in turn no it is not waterproof.

Cosmetics slightly different than before. However, its still the same old bag that youve grown to love. Bomber construction with the tarp fabric and roller blade wheels. This thing takes anything that you can dish at it. Oh, and the gaping maw fits at least a weeks worth of stuff and your extra ski boots. Just dont put so much in that you get overweight baggage!

This one does not. Check out The North Face Longhaul series if you are looking for a handle.
The Rolling Thunder is long enough that you really don't need a handle at the angle that rolls at. It is pretty heavy to begin with as well - I wouldn't want to any more weight to this bag these days....

Not much different than old model

The main difference (other than the price) between this one and the previous year model(s) is the carrying handles. Same great bag, slightly different look. See my previous reviews. My advice: get an older model for cheaper:
